DEPOSIT AND REFUND POLICY: A $500 deposit per person per week must accompany all reservations. Normal weekly stay runs from Sunday to Sunday. The deposit will be refunded, less a charge of $250 per person, with at least 30 days advance notice of cancellation. Total deposit is non-refundable if less than 30 days notice is given. Trip insurance is strongly recommended.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME: Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m.
EARLY DEPARTURE FEE: A fee equal to the remainder of the stay will be applied for a reservation departing early.
SERVICE CHARGE: A $25 service charge per person, per day, applicable New York State sales tax and County taxes on the total (including the service charge) will be added to the room rates quoted above. No tipping is expected at the Athenaeum.
DINING ROOM DRESS CODE: The Athenaeum tradition of coat and tie is always welcome at dinner; we do require business style attire such as slacks and a button up shirt for gentlemen and slacks, skirt or dress for ladies (no jeans, shorts or T-shirts please). Resort casual is acceptable for breakfast, lunch and Sunday Brunch.
